What does the suction actually pick up?

The loose fur your brush or attachment has just worked free. Suction pulls it through the hose into the 2.5L cup, instead of letting it drift onto the floor and furniture.

How strong is the suction? Can I adjust it?

Yes. There are three suction modes, supplier-rated at ≥10 kPa. Start on the lowest and move up for thicker or heavier-shedding coats.

How loud is it? Will my pet mind?

Operating noise is supplier-rated at ≤65 dB. Every pet reacts to new sounds differently, so start on the lowest mode, let your pet see and hear the unit first, and build up gradually.

Does it work for cats as well as dogs?

Yes. The system is made for grooming both dogs and cats. With cats and other noise-sensitive pets, introduce it gradually on the lowest mode.

Can I trim with it? Are the clippers cordless?

Yes. The pet clippers are cordless, so there's no cable to work around, and they come with 6 guide combs for trimming at different lengths.
